BRING YOUR MOM, DAD, NEIGHBOR, GRANDMA, CAT OR DOG, SPADE, SHOVEL, WEED PULLER, GLOVES AND COME ON OVER TO THE PARK…
WHAT NOW? phase 1 continues to make our park a great place to play, relax, and enjoy!
WHERE? Stonegate Park near fence where clearing has been done-more work to do (we need you all!)
WHEN? Tuesday-September 6, 6-8:00 (if you only have 20 minutes to spare, we’ll take it). Whether pulling weeds, or cutting back honeysuckle, we’ll be so grateful you helped. 
WHY? Much effort has gone into clearing many trees, weeds, and groundcover to give us a beautiful view from our park. Would chips are down, but the beautification committee, working with the Woodford county extension agency & Parks and Rec, intend to lay mulch and make it ready for plantings to create a cool place for a stroll, or to sit and enjoy a peaceful sunset. 
- Please come see our progress…and if you get the urge while you’re there to pull a weed or two…well, watch your back and don’t forget your gloves and water.
