The beautification group will be gathering April 18th from 2-3:30 at the park in Stonegate to discuss beautifying the neighborhood starting with the entrance into Stonegate.
This group welcomes anyone so feel free to attend. Ideas are welcome as well. Can reply to this notification for input.

I had not planned on attending today’s meeting. Would mention that Jeff and I are looking at the lighting and have a quick project that may work for now. Bobby Gaffney or us may need to have underground utilities identified at entrance if there is any significant digging for plantings. Pretty sure there are a couple of gas lines the go perpendicular under the wall to the road.
Next step of beautification committee is to get a couple of estimates and visuals of plantings in front of stonewall to show Bobby. Sheila has offered to check with landscaper that she knows. Plan is to see what it would look like with new low lying plantings to accentuate wall and to center the Sstonegate sign so it has a natural boarder of the stone. Overgrown shrubs would need to be removed. Lighting will also be added once a plan moves forward.
